Moving Day

Sunday September 2, 1962:  Freshly refitted and painted by the IC, the engine is taken off the main line and backed east onto Broadway.   Three movable sections of track are being used to bring the 2500 around the corner.  The track sections are positioned by two tow trucks, and then the engine and tender are pulled by winch from a bulldozer.
