Despite a little rain, the crews managed to get the 2500 headed west and moving.  They had to wait 4 hours for a 5 o’clock parts train that the railroad wouldn’t let them jeopardize.  Once the train passed, they crossed the IC, CB&Q, and Southern mainlines as shown here.
